Central Library :- Central Library is located behind Electrical Engineering Department which is shifted to this premise in May 2007 and offered services from academic year 2007-08. Total area available for Central Library in an independent two storey building is 1477.77Sq.m. The library building consists of General Book and Book Bank section, e-library room, Seminar room, Reading Hall, New Arrival Room , Reference Section  & Separate  Issue- Return Section.

• OPAC Service: OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is an online database of materials held by a library. It is an electronic version of the card catalogue. OPAC is the gateway to library collection. Web-OPAC system of searching books is also installed in the institute intranet which will be helpful to all students for checking titles and availability of books. 
• NPTEL Video Courses:  90 No. in downloaded form, All the NPTEL Video Courses available in e-library room. Students can access NPTEL Video through intranet. 
• NDL (National Digital Library) :  Institute Users are registered with National Digital Library (NDL) which is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility.

 E-Library Room  

Separate E-Library room having 20 multimedia PC preloaded with DVD Courses/NPTEL videos, MATLAB Software installed in PC  & other digital data base along with the Internet facility is provided for students. 

 Seminar Room 

Seminar room of having capacity of 30 along with LCD projector facility is available for Webinar purpose. TV facility is given to students for watching Educational Channels. 

Reading Room 

Reading room having capacity of 210 is available for students for study purpose.  

Circulation Section 

 Adopted OPEN  access system, Books are arranged by Universal Decimal Classification Scheme.  Computerized all its activities. General books are issued to all eligible members as per their entitlements. A set of TEN text books from Book Bank sections are issued to reserved category students at free of cost for the entire duration of a semester. Library staff also assist students & staff in retrieval of books and the use of electronic &  other resources.. Students are issued books for period of 15 days and after 15 days students can renew the books. 

• Separate reference book room equipped with numerous reference books/ materials is provided for students in library 
• Printed Journals – 128, Magazine – 24, News Paper – 12 
• Book Bank Facility is provided for students in library. 
• Xerox facility provided for student & staff. 
• Library timing extended up to 9.15pm for self learning purpose.
